Surcharged

Forgery

Original?

Also in this case I have to be careful about the "original" surcharge I show for comparison. There are several variants of this issue with varying quality. Compare your own stamps with the most characteristic criteria for ORIGINAL issues of Mi 38:

  1. Pointed, slightly curved head of the number "5"
  2. Vertical inside of arc of "5"
  3. Ball ending
  4. Footline under "1"
  5. Curved top of "1"

- This homemade version, however, should not
cause any doubt.....
